Back After a Pause, and a New Project

It’s been a while since I wrote here. Life had its own plans - almost three months of rest (if we can call it rest), recovery, and going slow. I was sick. And tired. And I needed to stop and rethink everything I was doing.
It wasn’t what I wanted, but in a way, it was exactly what I needed. Sometimes the most important work happens in the pause.
Now that I’m coming back, I’m doing it gently. I’m easing in. I’m still seeing clients (and being very careful about my capacity), and slowly letting creativity return on its own terms.
One small but exciting thing I’m working on this summer is building a custom ChatGPT tool to help couples have better conversations - especially after fights or during stuck moments. It’s not ready yet, but it’s been a joyful project to dream up. It's designed to help my clients practice between sessions. I think it'll be useful. It's AI assisted support between sessions. Not a replacement for therapy, but support that's always there when the therapist isn't.
I'll get back into my regular rhythm of posting again, although I'm taking summer to recharge and nourish myself. I hope you'll have a wonderful summer too.
